We know that this lady from Marina del Rey, California, will look twice next time she jumps in. Fortunately for her, her vastly large size must have tricked the sharks into thinking she was a whale shark, something you wouldn’t normally mess with. She got out in one piece.

Where other, similar units, are going relatively cheap for around $175K, apartment 5A is worth a whopping $400K according to the current owner, retired Liverpool teacher Ruth McCann.

So what makes 5A so special? Besides being situated a mere 500 meters from the beach, this also happens to be the apartment where little Maddy Mccann was abducted from over year ago. While forensic detectives had the place to themselves for a 2-month period, the unit was available for rent again soon after that.

Ruth Mccann claims she isn’t at all trying to cash in on the house’s notoriety, she’s simply targeting the British market, which would explain the extremely high pricetag. I guess she hasn’t heard the news about the British Depression yet.

The employees at the Burger King in Xenia, Ohio take their hygiene extremely serious. Where McDonalds is happy enough with their staff just washing their hands occasionally, Burger King managers let them bathe in the restaurant’s kitchen sink for a good scrub down.

Cleanfreak Timothy Tackett aka Mr.UNST@BL3, and his movie crew got fired as soon as the Burger King Boss found out what else the sink was being used for. A bit harsh perhaps, seeing it was the guy’s birthday.

Makes you wonder what else is on the menu.
